The Pertamina lubricants Ready to Go to the “American”
Owner of oil company managers, PT Pertamina (Limited), ready to penetrate the U.S. market this year with a Fastron lubricant. In addition to expanding the market, Pertamina is also want to demonstrate that the quality of lubricating Indonesia will compete with the brands of the world.

Over the past year, Pertamina had exported 116 797 kiloliters of lubricants and lubricating materials (lube base) 72 984 kl. This year, Pertamina hopes to boost the export performance of lubricants to be 181 500 kl.

For the domestic market, Pertamina targeting sales of lubricant products reach 444 960 kiloliters until the end of the year, up 2-3 percent the sales from last year recorded 430 000 kl. “Last year, the national oil consumption is about 720 000 kl. We control for up to 60 percent market share and this year’s focus on maintaining the growth of domestic sales,” said Supriyanto.
Currently, Pertamina’s total capacities lubricants production of about 560 000 kl per year. If be parsed, about 75 percent of production is supplied to the domestic, while the remainder (25 percent) is exported.
